HISTORY LESSON

We saw the first sock in the 8th century BC when the Romans wrapped their feet in fabric (origin from Latin word soccus). For decades, the laws of fashion dictated that socks were meant to match one’s trousers or shoes.  It was only in the beginning of the 20th century that colour palettes and patterns became popular and began to gain the attention of gents worldwide. Socks, now more than ever, is a defining garment that sets men apart from the ordinary and extraordinary.

Although it was Socrates who said, ‘It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty of which his body is capable’. We say it would be a shame to grow old without donning one of our stylish pairs.
